My alarm clock

So you know how women have their very own biological alarm clock? Yeah, well apparently men has them too. And I hate mine. Obviously when I use the term biological alarm clock, I don’t mean it the way women do. Mine is simply one that wakes me up every morning at approximately the same time. That’s right, I actually wake up and yes, wake up in the Morning, with no outter interference such as a regular alarm clock, and I do it almost everyday at approximately 9:30. As long as I sleep before 3 or 4′oclock (which I do most of the time), I’d wake up the next day at around 9:30. It’s not a choice. I don’t want it to happen. Well, sometimes I do, but not all the time. Just 20 minutes ago, I awoke from my slumber naturally and I thought to myself “What the hell? I’m still tired.” And I honestly am. Let’s see why.

I woke up yesterday morning at 9:30. I went to pick up my mom’s prescriptions at the pharmacy. Then I went into Chinatown to have dim sum with some of my friends who were back from school. After that I went to 34th street Penn Station to catch my train back to Stony Brook. Of course, I got there 2 minutes late and missed the train and therefore had to wait an hour and a half until the next one. During that time, I walked around Manhattan mall, spending most of my time in Aeropostale and Steve and Barry’s, finally purchasing a t-shirt at the latter. I boarded the train at 4:37. During the ride, I pulled out my AP U.S. Government book which I haven’t touched for two years and started reading up on chapters that will be covered on Thursday’s test. Finally after one chapter, I fell asleep. Of course, the “nap” taken was no more than 20 minutes because of the annoying, little, Long Island, sons of bitches, Asians-who-think-they’re-skaters-punks who sat in front of me began playing music loudly on their phones. I couldn’t figure out what song it was because it was one of those where you “Chipmunk’d” the songs. There were 5 of those little bitches, none of whom looked like theyre even in high school. Anyway, they were pretty on the same ride throughout and due to the incredibly loud volume when they talk to someone whos literally a foot away, I was not able to fall back asleep. Those of you who know me, yes this is incredible. Usually I can sleep through practically anything. Anyway, at around 6:40 I got back to Stony.

After unpacking and such, I got to work. Over the weekend, I was able to accomplish something I have never gone-go home and actually, do school work. It was quite remarkable. I have 4 essays due Wednesday for my human resource management class and due to some divine miracle, I knocked out 2 of them over the span of the 3 days I was home, both on one night however. Then when I got back to school last night, I managed to finish the 3 leaving me with one due on Wed. I’m beginning to think I’m not that screwed afterall this week. So after I finished my paper, I took a little dinner break at 9:30. After which, I played a little video game and then went back to work. This time, I had to study for my business test on the very same Wed. This lasted til around 12:30. That’s when I called it quits and decided to watch TV before I go to sleep which was around 3′o clock (dead time). And yes, I realized I could’ve used the 2 and a half hours watching TV, studying even more. I’m not proud of it, but screw that what’s done is done. Bottomline of the story is, when I went to sleep, I was exhausted. When I woke up this morning, I was still pretty tired. But because of the annoying biological alarm clock in me that would make any professors proud, I woke up and could not, no matter how hard I tried, to fall back asleep.
